Disruptions to Fuel Supplies Impact MSF Medical Activities
- [MSF] Since September 2025 in Mali, the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) have been preventing fuel imports from neighbouring countries, such as Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, and Senegal, from reaching Bamako and other cities, including Ségou, Koutiala, and Mopti. JNIM has attacked fuel tankers and ambushed their military escorts. This has had several consequences on Médecins Sans Frontières' (MSF's) medical activities.
